The next Government Closer to Home event is on Thursday 7 September, 3-7pm at St Ouen's Parish Hall. The event is aimed at over 55's and families.
Islanders are encouraged to come along and socialise over tea, coffee and cake while finding out more about some of the community and charitable organisations that are available in Jersey.
There are free activities to get involved in. Kelly Eastwood Art will be running an arts and crafts session for all ages and Carla Martini will be hosting a yoga session. Islanders are encouraged to book their places online for arts and crafts and yoga.
Jersey Electricity will also be available to do Portable Appliance Testing on electric blankets.

Malcolm Ferey, Assistant Minister for Social Security said: "It is great to see how Closer to Home is evolving.
