Les Landes School has been reviewed as part of the Jersey Schools Review Framework. The full report is available online.
The Jersey Schools Review Framework aims to provide an independent assessment of the quality of
education in Jersey schools. To do this, schools are visited over several days by a team of reviewers
who use a range a measures, including observing lessons, reviewing workbooks, and speaking with
students and staff.
The Jersey Schools Review Framework was piloted across Government schools from 2016 to 2019.
Following a pause during COVID, review visits have been re-started this academic year.
Les Landes was visited in early March by a team lead by an independent external lead reviewer,
experienced in conducting reviews in other jurisdictions, as well as a Senior Adviser from the
Department for Children, Young People, Education and Skills (CYPES) and senior school leaders
currently working in Jersey schools.
Following each review, the school, parents and CYPES receive a short report of the findings which
will be available on the Jersey Schools Review Framework webpage. Parents and carers can also
visit this page to watch videos, read factsheets in English, Polish and Portuguese, and find out more
about the process.
