Organisations invited to take part in a new wellbeing event

19 September 2023

Organisations across Jersey including charities, government departments, private businesses and arm's length organisations, are being invited to get in touch with Public Health if they wish to take part in an event which aims to promote good health and wellbeing across the Island.

WellFest as the event will be known, is a collaboration of all organisations who are committed to supporting Islander's health and wellbeing.

The event will include activities and talks for Islanders of all ages who are seeking to improve their health and wellbeing.

Organisations who would like to get involved are asked to contact publichealthcomms@gov.je. by Monday 25 September.

Deputy Director of Public Health, Grace Norman said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the huge range of organisations in Jersey who support all aspects of health and wellbeing.

"Our intention is that Islanders attending the event will discover, try out, and engage with a variety of services that can support their overall health and wellbeing while also having fun. I encourage any organisation who would like to take part to get in touch. We are excited to be able to hold this event and support Islanders in their health and wellbeing journey."

WellFest will take place at Grainville School on Saturday 14 October, further details will be announced in due course.
