The Minister for Social Security, Deputy Lyndsay Feltham, directed the Employment Forum to conduct
a consultation exercise to review the current levels of compensation
awards available to the Employment and Discrimination Tribunal.
Compensation awards are made when an employee’s employment and
discrimination law rights have been breached by their employer. The
Employment Forum has finished its consultation exercise and its report and
recommendations are available here.
