The recruitment process for a new Chair for the Fiscal Policy Panel has started.
The FPP provides independent advice to Government, States Members, and other stakeholders, on the economy, public finances and fiscal policy and the scope is being expanded to include financial stability.
The successful candidate is expected to be a leading economist with considerable experience. For that reason, a specialist UK recruitment firm, Odgers Berndtson, has been appointed.
The deadline for applications is 28 January and the successful candidate is expected to be appointed by April.
The new chair will replace Dame Kate Barker, who joined the FPP in 2014 and has been chair since 2016.
