Reviews of d'Auvergne, St Clement's and St Luke's schools have been published as part of the Jersey Schools Review Framework (JSRF). The reports are available to download here.
The reviews were led by experienced off-Island reviewers and consisted of teams ranging from three to five reviewers. The schools were visited between Tuesday 11 and Thursday 13 June.
Reviewers visited a range of lessons across the schools, listened to reading and spoke to various pupils about their work and learning across different subjects. They also observed pupils' behaviour during break times and sampled their work. Discussions were held with senior and subject leaders and a wide range of documents, including policies on safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety were scrutinised. Additionally, the reviewers visited a breakfast club and a sample of after-school clubs.
Headteacher of d'Auvergne School, Sam Cooper said: "This review has emphasised the strong community spirit evident at d'Auvergne, which is an inclusive environment where all our children can thrive. Our pupils contribute much to life at d'Auvergne, and we are particularly proud of our oracy programme, which runs through the heart of the school. I am also delighted that the report has shown how children benefit from high-quality teaching, as well as from having a range of subject specialist teachers across the curriculum.

Headteacher of St Luke's School, Adam Turner said: “I am delighted that the review highlights the positive behaviour of our pupils, that our support for multilingual learning, Special Needs and Jersey Premium has been recognised, as well as our commitment to personal development, equality, and democracy. I'd like to thank all my staff who have worked closely with me and with the senior leadership team to create a positive learning experience for all our pupils. I am very proud that their hard work and dedication has been recognised by this review.
