Islanders are invited to an open meeting at the Town Hall to learn about changes that have been introduced to the Adult Mental Health Service over the last two years and help shape plans for the future.
The invitation is extended to all service users, relatives and supporters of any Government Adult
Mental Health service in Jersey.
Director of Mental Health, Social Care and Community Services Andy Weir commented: “When
we launched a programme to make changes and improvements to mental health services in the
Island in 2022 we held a public meeting that helped inform our priorities.
“The time is now right to showcase the progress that has been made and the work that is still
ongoing but also to hear from Islanders about the things that are working well and the areas
where they feel we need to make further change or improvement.”
The Open Meeting is at the St Helier Town Hall on Tuesday 12 November, with tea and coffee
served at 5.30 ahead of the meeting that will run from 6-8pm.
