Jersey Police Authority
The Jersey Police Authority is an independent body and has been established to make sure that the States of Jersey Police:
- is an efficient and effective police force
- delivers the key aims and objectives set by the minister for Home Affairs, with the resources available
- acts in accordance with any management policies set by the minister for Home Affairs
It is also responsible for getting the views of local people about the policing of their area and their co-operation in preventing crime.
