Commemorative coins for 2024
During 2024 we're issuing the following commemorative coins:
The 80th anniversary of D Day one off design, 50p Set and Penny
To mark the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings which took place on 6th June 1944, the issue of five fifty pence coins which will form part of a collection telling the complete story of the D Day Invasion. The collection will be split between Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man (each country will issue five fifty pence coins, a total collection of 15 coins).
A one off coin which will be also issued as a traditional £5 coin, as well as the always popular Gold Penny.

The History of British Monarchy 10p Series
A series of 42 x 10p coins each featuring a British monarch from 1066 (William I) to present day (King Charles III), 6 x 10ps issued quarterly.

150th anniversary of Winston Churchill's birth one off £5 and £2 Coin Set
A one off £5 coin issue and £2 coin set to mark the 150th birthday of Winston Churchill, born on 30th November 1874. The £5 coin design will feature a portrait of Churchill alongside a significant place that he spent part of his life. This would be proposed as one of a three coin issue with Guernsey and the Isle of Man. The 5 x £2 coin set will feature Winston Churchill in the key 'roles' he undertook during his life including War Leader, Orator, Writer, Artist and Patriarch.

200th anniversary of the formation of the first Fire Service: 50p Coin Set
The first municipal fire brigade was formed in 1824 in Edinburgh. To mark the 200th anniversary, a set of 5 x 50p coins depicting vintage fire engines will be issued. Each one from a different time period and location around Britain. This will include the Lord St Helier engine from the St Helier brigade in the early 20th Century.

British Culture Theme: Patron Saints of the British Isles: 50p Coin Set
A set of 5 x 50p coins will be issued. Each one will feature iconography and heraldry representing each country including Saint George (England), Saint Patrick (Northern Ireland), Saint Andrew (Scotland), Saint David (Wales) and Saint Helier (Jersey), respectively.

60th anniversary of the Red Arrows: 50p Coin Set
2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the formation of the Red Arrows. We propose the issue of 5 x 50p coins featuring the Red Arrows, officially licensed with the MOD.

The Royal British Legion Poppy coins one off £5 Coin and Masterpiece
To continue issue of the annual Jersey Poppy coins endorsed by The Royal British Legion to coincide with Remembrance Day in November.

The Nativity Ten Pence Collection
To celebrate Christmas in 2024, a 10 pence coin collection depicting the Nativity will be issued.
The Nativity, as described in the Bible, is the reason for Christmas. Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who came to atone for the sins of humanity.
Each coin depicts a character or scene from the Nativity story set within a stained glass window.
