Retail Assistant (Opticians)

As a Retail assistant at Boots Opticians you will be working on the shopfloor providing a high standard of care to our customers, recommending products to aid their Eye health and lifestyle. You will spend time building great relationships with customers by listening and understanding their needs. This will enable you to help our customers find the perfect products tailored to their lifestyle and requirements.

As part of this role, we will provide training to become a qualified Optical Consultant.
The role involves:
• Carrying out pre-checks on the customer before the eye examination
• Ordering and dispensing of glasses and contact lenses
• Teaching customers how to put in contact lenses
• Providing after sales support through repairs and adjustments
• Working together as part of a team
