The postholder will be responsible for supporting the finance team in maintaining the financial control environment. Ideally applicants will have a recognised accounting or bookkeeping qualification or qualification through experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills enabling effective working relationships with the finance team, departmental managers and the wider organisation are also required. Some experience or awareness of charity accounting/reporting requirements under SORP would be advantageous although not essential.
