Fire Stopping Operative

As a fire stopping operative, you will be responsible for the installation &maintenance of fire protection systems, this includes fire stopping seals & cavity barriers.

The role of a fire stopping operative involves the following duties:
· Constructing fire resistant walls & ceiling linings
· Installing fire stopping to a professional and 3rd party certification standard
· Installation of large cavity barriers (TBA Firefly)
· Following technical drawings & plans
· Digitally recording all works undertaken using digital software.

Skill set:
· Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
· Previous experience in the building industry advantageous but not vital
· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team, with exceptional attention to detail and precision.
· Commitment to upholding the highest standards of health and safety on site
