Support for children with special educational needs

The Visual Impairment (VI) Team works together with school staff, parents and outside agencies to provide specialist educational support for children and young people from 0 to 19 years with a medically diagnosed visual impairment

Many Jersey schools offering secondary education, also offer a school based counsellor to be accessed by students who attend there

The ASCIT is an advisory service to schools supporting their understanding and management of pupils presenting with Autism or related social communication difficulties
