Amendment to the Road Traffic (St. Helier) (Order) 1996 under Article 68 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956

The Minister for Infrastructure, in pursuance of Article 68 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956, as amended, and after consultation with the Connétable of St Helier, gives notice of the following traffic changes.

This is to come into effect on Monday 4 July 2022.

Road Traffic (St. Helier) (Jersey) Order 1996

Schedule 1 (One Way Traffic) – Part 3 (Exemptions)

New entry added:

Esplanade

(between Weighbridge Place and Conway Street)

Omnibuses

Schedule 6 – Part 1 (Roads closed to vehicular traffic)

Existing entry removed:

Esplanade

(between Weighbridge Place and Conway Street)

at all times

Schedule 6 – Part 3 (Vehicles exempt from restrictions)

Existing entry removed:

Esplanade
Omnibuses

Schedule 10 – Part 1 (Parking of vehicles on roads for loading and unloading)

New entry added:

Hill Street
North Side (between a point 35 yards west of La Motte Street and a point 15 yards further west)20 minutes5am to 6pm Monday to Saturday

Existing entry amended:

Bath Street
West side (between a point 8 yards south of Moneypenny Lane and a point 20 yards further south)20 minutes6am to 11pm
