Changes to traffic arrangements on Midvale Road, Brighton Lane and Dorset Street

The Minister for Infrastructure, in pursuance of Article 68 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956, as amended, and after consultation with the Connétable of St Helier, gives notice of the following traffic changes to Midvale Road, Brighton Lane and Dorset Street.

This is to come into effect on Friday 6 May 2022.

Schedule 1, One way Traffic, Part 1

Entries to be inserted:

  • Brighton Lane in the direction Brighton Road to Rouge Bouillon
  • Dorset Street, between Clearview Street to a point 18 yards west of Dorset Lane, in the direction Dorset Lane to Clearview Street
  • Midvale Road in the direction Rouge Bouillon to Val Plaisant

Schedule 5, Roads closed to through traffic

Entries to be deleted:

  • Dorset Street, between Clearview Street and Val Plaisant

Schedule 6, Pedestrian roads closing to, and restricted use by, vehicular traffic, Part 1

Entries to be inserted:

  • Brighton Lane, at all times
  • Dorset Street, between Clearview Street to a point 18 yards west of Dorset Lane, at all times

Entries to be inserted:

  • Brighton Lane, Pedal cycles
  • Dorset Street, Pedal cycles
