14 June 2021A commemorative Waterloo memorial event will be taking place at St. Saviours Church and Government House throughout the day on Thursday 24 June.
Her Royal Highness, Princess Anne will be attending to present service medals to members of the Jersey Field Squadron at a reception at Government House, and attend a memorial service for Peninsular war and Waterloo veterans buried in St Saviour's Churchyard.
The event will be taking place between the hours of 1000 to 1500 and the Parish Hall offices will be closed for the day. During the Royall visit, there may be slight delays to traffic in the area.
Parish online services will remain available and the Parish Hall office will re-open to assist as usual from 8.45am Friday 25 June.
