An Assembly of the Principals and Electors of the Parish of St Helier will be held at 7pm on Wednesday 27 November 2024 at the Town Hall.

Parishioners are asked to take into consideration and, if deemed advisable, to:

  • ​approve the Minutes of the Parish Assembly held on 30 October 2024
  • elect one Vingtenier for the Vingtaine de Bas du Mont au Prêtre
  • recommend to the Licensing Assembly the following applications for licences for the year 2025 in virtue of the Licensing (Jersey) Law 1974:

  • consider an application by La Moye Limited in respect of, Princes Bar, Havre Des Pas, to vary the conditions of the 1st category licence to remove the restriction that only background music shall be played on the said premises
  • consider an application for a Bailiff’s Entertainment Permit (P49) by La Moye Limited, in respect of premises known as Princes Bar, Havre des Pas, holder of a 1st category licence. The application is to enable a monthly music night on a Saturday, which would be live music, including Motown and DJ between the hours of 7pm to 10.30pm. The applicant is also requesting Bank holiday Sundays Karaoke from 7pm to 10.30pm (inclusive of Easter Sunday) and quarterly charity events with potential live music or music bingo from 7pm to 10pm
  • consider an application by Jersey Bulls Football Club Limited in respect of, The Bulls Bar and Fan Zone (Jersey Bulls FC), Springfield Stadium, Janvrin Road, holder of a 1st category licence. Historically, the licence restricted the sale of alcohol to match days and up to an hour after the end of the match. The applicant is requesting to increase the hours that alcohol can be sold in the Bulls Bar in the following additional and extended circumstances: Weekdays 6pm to 11pm, weekends 11am to 11pm and including during those same hours for pre-booked private events. There is no amendment being sought in relation to the Fan Zone
