An Assembly of Principals, Officers and Electors of the Parish of St John will be held on Sunday 18 August 2024, in the Parish Church, at 10.30am to:

a) As per presentation by Rector and Churchwarden, to vote on installing a 3ft long ornamental Gallows Bracket (Gothic style) to the North wall of the church, adjacent to the Pulpit and to be positioned at the required height above the Pulpit dome, to accommodate an electric screen (dimensions: 7ft wide, diagonal screen size 100”, viewing area WxH 215cm x 135cm, format 16:10) in order to: 

  1. Remove the need to set-up and pack away a free-standing screen
  2. Allow view of pulpit before and after services
  3. Flexible use of screen for weddings, funeral, school services and other services
  4. Permanent focus of projector
  5. Remote control operation
