Parish assembly
An Assembly of Principals and Electors of the Parish of St Martin will be held in the Public Hall, at 7.30pm on Thursday 1 May 2025 to:
- receive and if deemed advisable, approve the Minutes of the Nomination Meeting held on 8 August 2024
- receive and if deemed advisable approve the Minutes of the Parish Assembly held on 12 December 2024
- elect an Officer du Connétable for the Vingtaine de Rozel for a 3-year term of office
- presentation of the Mickeden Cup by the Connétable and Chef de Police
Copies of the previous minutes will be available from the Public Hall during office hours and on the Parish website from Thursday 25 April 2025.
Nomination meeting
A Nomination Meeting will be held in the Public Hall on Thursday 1 May at 7pm to:
- elect one Centenier to complete a 3-year term of office expiring June 2028
A nomination form for each candidate for election must be produced to the meeting and must be completed by a proposer and 9 seconders who are electors in the Parish.
In each election:
- if there are more candidates than vacancies, a poll will be held on Wednesday 11 June 2025
- if there are not more candidates than vacancies, any duly nominated candidate will be declared elected at the nomination meeting
You must have registered by midday on Wednesday 30 April 2025 to vote in this election.
