​​The Minister for Infrastructure, in pursuance of Article 68 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956, as amended, and after consultation with the Connétab​le of St Helier, gives notice of the following traffic changes to one-way traffic routes, roads closed to through traffic and closing to, and restricted use by vehicular traffic on Dumaresq Street.

These changes will take effect from Monday 11 November 2024.

Road Traffic (St Helier) (Jersey) Order 1996

Introduced to the schedule of the order:

Schedule 1, One-Way Traffic, Part 1, One-Way Traffic Routes

  • replace the existing entry for Dumaresq street in Column 2 “Charing Cross to Le Geyt Street” with “Hue Street southern junction to Hue Street northern junction”.
  • insert an entry for Dumaresq Street in Column 2 before “Hue Street southern junction to Hue Street northern junction” with “Hue Street to Charing Cross”

Schedule 5, Roads Closed to Through Traffic

  • insert an entry in Column 1 after Common Lane “Dumaresq Street” and add the entry in column 2 “All times”

Schedule 6, Pedestrian Roads – Closing to, and Restricted use by, Vehicular Traffic Part 3, Vehicles Exempt from Restrictions

  • insert an entry in Column 1 after Dorset Street “Dumaresq Street”
  • add the entry in Column 2 “cabs, as defined in the Motor Traffic Law; pedal cycles”​​​
