An Assembly of the Principals and Electors of the Parish of St Helier will be held at 7pm on Wednesday 29 January 2025 at the Town Hall.

Parishioners are asked to take into consideration and, if deemed advisable, to:

  • ​approve the Minutes of the Parish Assembly held on 18 December 2024
  • in accordance with Article 32 of the Rates (Jersey) Law 2005, to elect a minimum of one person to act as a member of the Assessment Committee for a term of 3 years
  • approve a recommendation of the Connétable, Roads Committee and Procureurs du Bien Public to accept a gift of a new private footway in Garden Lane which forms the south-west corner of the new development known as "The Spire"
  • instruct the Connétable and at least one Procureur du Bien Public to pass contract, with the owner paying all reasonable legal costs associated with the transfer: P.01/2025
  • consider a representation by Capital Properties Limited, in respect of premises known as The Mulcaster & 1823 Grill, 18 Mulcaster Street, holder of 1st and 3rd category licences, who wish to confirm that 110 patrons be permitted on each floor
  • consider a representation by Chambers Limited, in respect of premises known as Chambers, Mulcaster Street, holder of 1st, 3rd and 7th category licences. Chambers are requesting designated nightclub status, to amend their closing time on a Friday and Saturday from 1am to 2am
  • consider an application by Jersey Waterfront Hotel Holdings Limited, current holder of a 4th category licence, for the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Rue de L’Etau, who already hold a P49 Bailiff’s Entertainment Permit. The Radisson is applying to amend the areas the P49 permit covers to include the outside areas marked in orange, where the applicant would like to have daily background music, in addition every Friday a live music event (DJ or live band, and the area marked in pink for background music for potential one off-events, for example the Jersey Airshow)
