05 January 2022Notice is hereby given that The Clairemont Foundation (the Foundation) intends to apply to continue in the Isle of Man and to be established as an Isle of Man foundation, being a recognized entity for the purposes of the Foundations (Continuance) (Jersey) Regulations 2009 (the Regulations).
Upon its establishment in the Isle of Man, the Foundation would be solvent.
A person aggrieved by the proposed continuance of the Foundation in the Isle of Man, and its establishment as an Isle of Man foundation, may, within the 28 days after the publication date of this notice apply to the Royal Court for an order to restrain the proposed establishment pursuant to regulation 24 of the Regulations. If the Court is satisfied that the interests of the person making the application would be unfairly prejudiced if the proposed establishment were to take place, it may make an order to restrain the proposed establishment, subject to such terms, if any, as it thinks fit.
