Proposed changes

The proposed changes include:

  • Virtual Asset Service Providers being added as a payment service provider under the Wire Transfer Regulations
  • Money or Value Transfer Services being added as a payment service provider under the Wire Transfer Regulations
  • provide an exemption from the obligations of the Wire Transfer Regulations regarding below de minimis transfers of virtual assets, subject to certain conditions being met
