About the consultation
We want to make sure that the care people receive in the community, whether in care homes, in their own home or at an adult day centre, is safe and of high quality.
The Regulation of Care Law, passed by the States in 2014, sets out a framework for the regulation of health and social care services, however this law can't come into force until relevant regulations are in place.
Draft regulations have now been written that set out what a ‘care at home service’, a ‘care home’ and an ‘adult day care service’ will look like and what these services must do to make sure the care they provide is safe and of a high standard.
Who we'd like to hear from
We are seeking views from:
- people who use such services
- carers and relatives of people who use such services
- providers of care services
- voluntary and community organisations
Public meeting dates
16 March 2017 | 7pm | Jersey Hospice Education Centre |
