About the consultation
In the form of a Green Paper, the consultation has been divided into 4 sections which deal with seasonality, value, employment opportunities and investment. The paper will pose a number of questions, such as whether more resources should be devoted to marketing outside the main summer season, and the issue of employing more locally qualified staff throughout the industry.
The period of consultation will run until 30 September and members of staff from Jersey Tourism will be available throughout the period to assist with the process.
The consultation Green Paper is available to download below or you can view an electronic version on the States of Jersey Consultation Portal. It should be read and completed in conjunction with the recently published economic analysis prepared by Oxera Consulting entitled 'Tourism in Jersey'.
