Chief Operating Office (COO)

The Chief Operating Office (COO) was a department before the Cabinet Office that brought together a number of internal services to support and enable the effective functioning of our public services. Its Directorates now sit within the Cabinet Office.

​​​The two core functions of the COO which are now part of the Cabinet Office:

People Services

People Services leads our culture change and people practices across the Government of Jersey that are central to delivering our strategic outcomes. The function enables change through new and different ways to bring high quality public services to Jersey.

  • Industrial Relations and Reward
  • Resourcing

Digital Services

Digital Services develops innovative technology to help simplify internal processes and speed up how customers access our services.
