Economic Growth and Diversification Strategy (FOI)

Please can you publish the Evaluation Report into the Economic Diversification and Growth Strategy. I believe that report was completed a year ago.

Response

The public authority can confirm that it holds this information. However, the information is considered to be exempt under Article 36 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

Exemptions applied

Article 36 - Information intended for future publication

(1) Information is qualified exempt information if, at the time when the request for the information is made, the information is being held by a public authority with a view to its being published within 12 weeks of the date of the request.

Justification for exemption

The Evaluation Report into the Economic Diversification and Growth Strategy is currently being used to produce the new Enterprise Strategy. Once the Enterprise Strategy is published, which Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture anticipate will be before the end of 2016, the Evaluation Report will also be published.
