For the requester’s further information, Jersey is aligned with the UK, USA and other countries in believing that progress in such areas is best pursued through a process of constructive engagement, both at political and business levels. We support British foreign policy in giving priority to the protection and promotion of human rights and the belief that private channels offer the best chance of delivering meaningful change on issues that are often viewed as sensitive by the governments concerned.
