Covenant change on former La Motte Street School building (FOI)

I would like to know what happened to the funds allocated by the States of Jersey for the covenant change on the La Motte Street building circa £80,000, that were for the sole benefit of child education and a capital project.

Response

The £80,000 will be allocated from the project capital budget as and when proposals to develop the site have been finalised and approved. No decision has yet been taken on how those funds will be spent, but this will be in accordance with the proposals set out in the report accompanying proposition P9/2016 as approved by the States Assembly on 13 September 2016, which can be found on the following link.
