Children’s Services: The social care records system for Children’s Services is currently in the process of being replaced.

The new supplier, Servelec Group Plc, has already been selected.

The project commenced in April 2017.

We are due to go live with the replacement system in late 2017.

Implementation has been outsourced to an external supplier. Budgeted costs for the project, excluding external supplier payments, are as follows:
Work required by existing internal staff members is being completed as part of normal business with no direct additional cost.

Children’s Services: SQL Server Management Studio is used to access data held within Softbox.
Adult Services: Imosphere supply a reporting platform, Atmolytics, which is used in addition to SQL.

A number of staff from across the business will be involved part-time in the implementation of the new social care system ensuring the necessary subject matter expertise is available.

We have employed an external supplier to manage and deliver the new social care case management system, they will deliver all services in relation to implementing the new system. There is an expectation that the relevant subject matter expertise will be provided by the Public Authority to guide the implementation and ensure an appropriate outcome.
