How many Civil Servants at the Department for Infrastructure have been upgraded since January 2017 for what reason, and into which positions?
Response
11 public servants (Civil Service and Manual Workers) within the Department of Infrastructure have been upgraded since January 2017, due to the following reasons:
- one employee changed business unit
- one employee has been made permanent
- nine employees have been promoted
These people have been promoted to a more senior position in the organisation.
It is not possible to list each role separately due to the restrictions of the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.

Article 25 Personal information
(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.
(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –
(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; and
(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.”
