Please supply a list of all members of the current States Assembly who have made Freedom of Information requests in 2017 and the names / subjects of those requests. If possible, also provide links to the responses if published online.
Response
The identity of requesters is protected under Data Protection legislation and is exempt under Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.
For you further information, one of the guiding principles of Freedom of Information is that it is both requester and motive blind so that all requests are treated the same under the law.
Exemption applied
Article 25 - Personal information
(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.
(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –
(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; and
(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
