A snapshot of the information was taken on the 16 August 2017. There were 100 convicted prisoners residing at HMP La Moye. Results of the request are as follows:
Break in offences | 2 |
Behaviour offences | 1 |
Drug offences | 29 |
Fraud offences | 10 |
Miscellaneous offences | 4 |
Motoring and traffic offences | 3 |
Sexual offences | 26 |
Threat and violence offences | 25 |
Miscellaneous Offences include Breach of Probation and Community Service orders.
B
The States of Jersey Prison Service would not hold information on all reconvictions. Consequently the Prison Service is unable to state how many of the above prisoners have been convicted more than once for the same offence. However our research has shown that out of the 100 prisoners 47 have spent time previously at HMP La Moye.
