B

How many people were on the Sex Offenders register during 2015, 2016 and 2017?

For each year could a breakdown be provided of the number of men and women on the register and also the number of people under the age of 18 on the register?

If possible could the ages of those on the register be given or the range of ages from the youngest to the oldest be given.

Response

A

The number of individuals required to register as sex offenders will vary throughout the year. In January 2018, 88 were required to register. Of those numbers, none are female and only one is under 18 years of age. No further age breakdown will be supplied as to do so may inadvertently identify an individual and the information is therefore absolutely exempt under Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.
