A previous Freedom of Information (FOI) response provided a copy of the final signed version of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) made between the Attorney General, the States of Jersey Police, the Jersey Financial Services Commission and the Government of Jersey.
This MOU states that it will be effective from the date of its signing by all the parties. Two of the four parties signed on 19 December 2017, and the remaining two signed on 7 February 2018. The MOU that has been provided to me has therefore only been effective since 7 February 2018.
I request a copy of the version of the MOU that was in effect as at the date of the signing of the Economic Crime and Confiscation Unit and Joint Financial Crimes Unit Operating Protocol dated 20 July 2017 or confirmation that no such MOU exists.
Response
At the 20 July 2017, the Memorandum of Understanding made between the Attorney General, the States of Jersey Police, the Jersey Financial Services Commission and the Government of Jersey was in draft un-signed format. This was the final draft.
