Request
A
Could you give me the figures for waiting times for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)?
Specifically, I am looking for an update on the waiting times mentioned on pages 40 and 41 of the following report:
Health, Social Security and Housing Scrutiny Panel report S.R.5/2014
B
Could you show the waiting times since the last CAMHS report was published?
C
And could you also share any plans to improve waiting times for the service?
Response
A and B
Validated waiting times data for CAMHS routine referrals is available from September 2015. Data prior to this date would require a manual records trawl which would exceed the cost limit specified by regulations.
The waiting times below are calculated from the date a referral is received to the date of the first initial assessment offered. The average number of days is then rounded to the nearest whole week.
