Request

I am trying to find out which examination board was used by D’Hautree School in 1989 for GCSE results. This information seems to be contained in document Ref D/J1/A/B1/E/9 at the Jersey Archive however this appears to be exempt from public access under FOI regulations. Would it be possible to request this information?

Response

The responding department have reviewed the file which is currently sealed until 2093 as it contains significant personal data of individuals. It is therefore not possible to open this file at this time.

Upon review of the file there is very little information relating to the examination boards used by D’Hautree school in 1989 as the majority of information in the file is from 1990 onwards. The only relevant material is for modern languages examinations and is attached in redacted form.

Also attached are reports detailing the use of GCSE boards in secondary schools in 1990 and 1992 which may be of interest.
