Please will you provide the breakdown of £14,373,325 paid to Gleeds Management Services regarding the Future Hospital Project.
Response
Gleeds Management Services (GMS) were appointed as the Lead Technical Advisor through an open procurement process in 2014. The services provided by GMS were delivered by a number of technical experts including architects, engineers and medical planners either directly by GMS staff or through sub-contract agreements with third parties.
The appointment of these sub-contractors was a commercial arrangement between GMS and the individual companies. The department does not hold information on these third party agreements.
The sums paid to GMS were in respect of a combination of specific deliverables and cross-cutting project support, co-ordination and management services. The specific deliverables may have been produced by GMS alone or may have involved one or more of the sub-contracted companies. These works were invoiced through the contract with GMS. No apportionment of these costs to the sub-contract companies is held by the department.
An analysis of the £14,373,325 sum by activity, referencing specific deliverables where appropriate, is set out on the attached document.
