This Freedom of Information request is regarding Attendance Panel Meetings which are held at the Department of Education, and relates specifically to the five States of Jersey non fee paying secondary school (namely Le Rocquier, Les Quennevais, Grainville, Haute Vallee and Hautlieu).

Please can you give me the annual average (combined) pupil attendance of the five States of Jersey non fee paying mainstream secondary schools for the academic years 2009 to date.

Please can you tell me how many attendance panels have been held per year for students of those schools named above for the period 2009 to date.
C
Please can you tell me, for how many students did school attendance improve following the Attendance Panel meeting process.
D
Please can you tell me how many cases were referred to the Parish Hall or Law Officers Department for consideration of prosecution where school attendance did not improve.

Due to the small numbers involved, it is not possible to provide a breakdown by school, as any further breakdown may result in the identification of individuals. As such the information is exempt under Article 25 (Personal Information) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 (the FOI Law).

Attendance improved for 33 pupils following panel.

Due to the small number of pupils being referred to the Parish Hall, Article 25 of the FOI Law has been applied to this part of the request.
