I would like details of all contracts between the States / Government of Jersey (Economic Development and Environment) and Dr Steve Webster between 2010 and present day to include purpose of contract, contracting parties, contract value, contract manager, and dates.

Dr Webster was paid a total of £198,826.44 for work carried out under these contracts. Article 33 (Commercial interests) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied to the release of the individual contract values as this data is considered to be commercially sensitive and its disclosure could be deemed to be prejudicial.

Information is qualified exempt information if –

(a) it constitutes a trade secret; or
(b) its disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of a person (including the scheduled public authority holding the information).

We consider that disclosing the individual contract values would likely prejudice or harm the commercial interests of Dr Webster and that this prejudice outweighs the public interest in favour of disclosure.
