Ethnicity by Parish (FOI)

Request

I would like to receive information on anything about different ethnic groups in each parish and what jobs they do. (Information of each parish, list of ethnic groups living in that parish and what jobs they do)

Statistics Jersey hold information on Jersey residents by parish of residency, self-declared ethnicity and place of birth, as well as details of the industry and occupation they worked in (for workers only), from the 2011 Census (see www.gov.je/census for more information), held on 27 March 2011.

The attached table gives the parish breakdowns by ethnicity, place of birth, industry group (classified by ‘2002 Jersey Standard Industrial Classification’) and occupation group (classified by Standard Occupational Classification, 2010’) from this 2011 Census data.
