Numbers using Mental Health Services (FOI)

Please can you tell me the number of active service users of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Jersey Adult Mental Health Services for 2018 in the age brackets below;

• 16-17

• 18-25

• 25-30

• 30-40

• 40-50

• 50-65

• 65+

Response

The age brackets in the response have been modified slightly to avoid overlap and double counting. Please note that most service users in the ‘65+’ age bracket will be on Older Adult Mental Health Service caseloads rather than Jersey Adult Mental Health Service caseloads. Some Service Users may be on the active caseload of more than one team but have been counted only once for the purpose of this response.

The figures in the table below show the count of unique service users in each age bracket that were on mental health team caseloads as at 31 December 2018. The table does not include Jersey Talking Therapies clients.
