Request
How many Ambulance Agency Staff have been brought in to help cover in the last year and how much has this cost? Also what are they paid and how much to cover their accommodation and travel costs?
Response
The following information relates to the period 1 August 2018 to 31 July 2019.
During this period, the sum of £114,584 was paid for Ambulance Agency Staff. This is for less than 10 staff during this period. Due to the small numbers involved, disclosure control has been applied under Article 25 (Personal Information) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 to avoid the potential release of personal data.
This sum is the amount paid to the agency, not to the staff. We do not hold information relating to rates of pay for agency staff.
The cost of accommodation over this 12 month period was £7,720.
