A

Seriously ill patients are transported only from Jersey to the UK by helicopter (as a last resort) with return journeys occurring normally on scheduled flights.

Note – Health and Community Services only uses helicopters in time critical emergency transfers to tertiary centres in the UK when all other options have been exhausted and never from the UK back to Jersey.
