Response

A breakdown is provided in Table 1, by primary school, of how many students received the flu vaccination in 2018 in school compared to those who did not.

The number of 0-18 year olds who received treatment through Jersey General Hospital as a direct result of laboratory confirmed influenza in winter 2018/19 was 34.

Of the thirty four 0-18 year olds treated through Jersey General Hospital for laboratory confirmed influenza, six had received a flu vaccination; 28 had not received a flu vaccination.

Numbers less than five have been shown as <5. Disclosure control has been applied to the data in order to protect the identity of individuals, in accordance with Article 25 (Personal Information) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.
