What is the amount of money spent by the Jersey Maternity Unit on overtime and non-
permanent staff in the period 2014 compared to 2013?

The Maternity Unit covers the following six business units:
• The Bridge
• General Midwifery
• Maternity Modern Matron
• Labour ward
• Ante Natal Unit
• WP - Community Midwives
Table 1 represents the overtime payments made within the Maternity Unit in 2014 compared to 2013.
Table 1: Overtime payments
Table 2 represents the costs of zero hours staff within the Maternity Unit in 2014 compared to 2013. The costs have been broken down into the basic pay received (inclusive of holiday pay) and non-pensionable extra duty allowances (ie payments made for working various shift patterns).
