Response

A

Please see the spreadsheet below for a list of all property assets owned by the Public of Jersey.

Government of Jersey property assets

We have included eight Parish owned primary schools in which the Public have a statutory interest in, rather than a freehold interest.

A number of property assets are included which are on a 150 year lease to Ports of Jersey.

The list does not include properties that are leased-in by the Public.

B

The following properties have been identified for disposal and are expected to progress to completion during the next two years.

  • Cyril Le Marquand House, St Helier

  • South Hill Offices, St Helier

  • Former La Motte Street Youth Centre & New Ways, St Helier

  • Philip Le Feuvre House, St Helier

  • Huguenot House, St Helier

  • Jubilee Wharf, St Helier

  • Maison Le Pape, St Helier

  • Le Bas Centre, St Helier

  • Cricket Field Cottage, St Helier

  • Stonecot, St Helier

  • Le Chatelet Annexe, St Helier

  • 12, 14 & 16 Burrard Street, St Helier

  • 52 Don Street, St Helier

This may not be an exhaustive list as the Public is approached from time to time by third-parties to seek to acquire land in Public ownership. Some of the identified properties listed above will be transferred to the Jersey Development Company and / or Andium Homes Limited as directed by the Regeneration Steering Group. The remainder will be marketed through an appointed agent in due course.
