Electoral Reform..
Had the Constables had not voted what would have been the result?
Response
Three recorded votes were taken in respect of ‘Electoral Reform 2020’ (P.126/2020) on Parts (a), (b) and (d) of the proposition. The results of all three votes are available on the States Assembly’s website, links to which have been provided below:
Part (a)
Part (b)
Part (d)
The results in each case are broken down to show how each member voted; and it is therefore possible to extrapolate from these pages the total number of votes cast ‘pour’ (for) and ‘contre’ (against) by Senators and Deputies alone.
This response has been issued on behalf of the States Greffe. The States Greffe is responsible for the information held by (and on behalf of) both itself and the States Assembly. Neither the States Assembly nor the States Greffe form part of the Government of Jersey and the Government was not involved either in the examination and retrieval of any information required for this response, nor in the drafting of the response itself.
