Request

Please can you confirm if it is legal for a restaurant or a hotel in Jersey to automatically add or charge 10% to the bill, and if it is legal, does that include drinks or just the meal?

Response

The question is a request for legal advice and is therefore not information that is held by the Government of Jersey for the purposes of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.
