Who was on the committee that planned the new Nightingale Hospital please?

Response

Following the Competent Authorities Ministers meeting on 25 March, officials were asked to prepare potential options to increase hospital bed capacity including the development of a possible Field Hospital in response to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The decision to proceed with the new Nightingale Hospital was agreed by the Competent Authority Ministers at their meeting on 8 April and was ratified by the Emergencies Council on 8 April. The Council of Ministers endorsed the recommendations of the Emergencies Council and Competent Authorities Ministers and agreed that an emergency Field Hospital should be constructed on the Millbrook Playing Fields site also on 8 April.
